okay, another attempt to start writing again. learning to be a Buddhist, gratitude and, sadly, about things like the latest idiocy from the red-haired orangutan that is Drumf.

so, godiverse, i am grateful for.... charlie rose. he looks like he's about to die. the pouches under his eyes have pouches under them. but he has looked like this for decades. bob woodward is on and another guy and they are trying to make sense of Drumf's -- the original family name of the trumps -- actual political speech. commenting on things like Drumf saying that he will end globalization, which is idiotic. beyond idiotic because we live in a globalized world and it isn't just going to…

Otolaryngology----MRI Technician--- Hematologist--- Fire Science-----Music Theory (Music Therapy)

There is no escape from them.

They have to have their hands in it to ruin everything.

That's exactly their purpose, ruining me.

Watch them chase me all over town just like the habits they are used to having.  Lying about all the things they can make up about a person with their fake evidences.

Which profession would you choose over the rest.

I paint portraits.  How many do any of them have?

I play music.  How many of my songs have you heard…

Actions speak louder than words..?

I hope so, because I am at a lose for words lately.

I keep thinking, if I say just the right thing in just the right way...

But, it's not working and it's never worked, so I guess I'm insane because I keep believing it will work.  I just have to get the words right.

My apologies for such an introverted post.  You don't have to comment back.  I'm just typing out loud.

Rodney makes an open call about books, and I think back on  my book…

As Plain As The Nose On Your Face

Jeepers !

Is this political season wacky or what ?

A little exaggerating about accomplishments, lofty goals that cannot be achieved, and tales of who knows who and how that will help or hinder is to be expected. Grandma called it prevaricating. You were not supposed to do it but a firestorm eternity wasn't the likely…

My Fictional Tormenter

It was, I thought, an innocent act.  My publisher called to say that the manuscript to my first book, The Year of the Gerbil, was finished, and that he had obtained a blurb, a quote in praise of the book for the back cover, and from a former director of public relations for the New York Yankees, no less.  Had I, he asked, persuaded anyone to do likewise?

Having a single blurb is like having a single friend in grade school.  Which I usually did, until they moved away, in which…

Frequent Ejaculation May Lower Risk Of Prostate Cancer

Frequent Ejaculation May Lower Risk Of Prostate Cancer:  A new U.S. study suggests that men who ejaculate often may have a lower risk of prostate cancer than their peers who don’t do it as frequently.  So, if I understand this right, it seems I now have a choice of either going blind, or getting prostate cancer.  Let me think this one over for a bit.  If anyone needs me, I’ll be in my room - fighting cancer - and I do plan to fight it - hand over…

oysters and lightning

Oysters are difficult to come by in Kansas City--they are flown in here and there with varying degrees of success. Generally speaking, even the best KC 'fresh' oyster on the shell is half of what you'd expect and receive in New Orleans in terms of plump deliciousness. For the last few years the go to…

My Father

My Father

On his last day, I believe my father, was not in agreement

with the world.

It was the way he sat in a stroke of silent thoughts,

and in a real stroke of part way bodily paralysis.

My mother said he was at prayer.

I rubbed his head…

In The Kitchen Of Angelo

In The Kitchen of Angelo

In the kitchen of Angelo,

the olives roll their blood shot eyes in the jar,

the bread swells in clean curved slices,

and chosen cheeses leap for each dish served.

He has stirred his grandmother into the tasty sauce

Donald Trump's foreign policy: 'America First' & Why are these People Smiling??

Check this out, Trump is dumping on Obama and HRC because we get "no respect" and of course he's rolling out the Benghazi BS as part of his comprehensive foreign policy speech:

As an answer to the problem of "no respect," rumor has it that the Trump Campaign is in negotiations with Randy…

Dr. Gordon Was Right

As mass production has to be accompanied by mass consumption; mass consumption, in turn, implies a distribution of wealth -- not of existing wealth, but of wealth as it is currently produced -- to provide men with buying power equal to the amount of goods and services offered by the nation's economic machinery.

-- Marriner Eccles

This quote is part of the permanent preamble to one version of these endeavors. Today's essay was going to… Continue

At the Farrah Fawcett Wing of the Smithsonian

Farrah Fawcett’s red bathing suit and a poster bearing her image have been donated to the Smithsonian.

                The Boston Herald

As I herded my class of seventh-grade boys from Ryan O’Neal Consolidated Middle School up the steps of the Smithsonian Institution, I had to catch myself more than once, the wave of emotions that swept over me was so strong.

“This isn’t like the Lincoln Memorial,” I had said to the kids…

Where's Michelle? I mean Ganis. Where's April? Where's Bethany? Why won't he shut up?

Who's up after Bethany? It isn't shoes it is where Bethany is and all the innuendo after I deal with her. I can buy as much rubber mix and make goat horns all I want. They don't care. I can paint it light blue in the shade and gray and it doesn't matter I can airbrush onto rubber that I pour molds for. I can wear stryofoam heels on my shoes to make Pan's hooves for my costume. I liked the shag throw rug I used for legs too. I didn't have the ability to airbrush bodies at the time but I would… Continue
