ON AI, THE BURGEONING TECHNOCRACY & THEIR PORTENDED ESCHATOLOGICAL IMPLICATIONS

In 1948, mathematician John Von Neumann theorized the potential existence of a kind of computational machine which would evolve at such a pace as to soon be capable of replicating itself in an exponential mode of systemic upgrade. He postulated that with each new 'replica' of itself, there would be improvements made upon the…

AM I A 'BAD CHRISTIAN' OR PERSON FOR FEELING ANGRY AT THOSE WHO HAVE HARMED ME? SHOULDN'T I JUST 'FORGIVE & FORGET?'

Excusing an offense without holding the offending party accountable is merely enabling them to go on sinning. Repentance is a part of any sound relational equation. After all, James 5:16 tells us that we are to CONFESS and be healed, not DEFLECT and be healed.-V.L.S.

Welcome!

With any new site, we understand that finding your way around can be a bit daunting. To help you use our site, we have a few resources and tips, all of which can be found on pages under the ABOUT tab in your top menu bar. They are:

FAQ- here you can find some quick answers to general questions, questions about privacy and about site features.

Site News, Tips & Tricks - this is our forum where you can find tips on using the site, news about site changes and other information from the staff and other members.

Our Terms Of Service and Our Copyright Policy can also be found under the ABOUT tab.

You may also find additional help by going to chat and asking another member. Chat can be found in 2 place: There is a CHAT link in your top menu which will open chat in your browser.

The other option for opening chat is to use the small tabs at the bottom of most pages. The tab named "Opium Den" (our chat name) will open the in a small pop up window at the bottom of the screen. This window can also be resized or 'popped-out' and used as a separate window.

There is a "Members Online" tab on the bottom of your page too. This will show which other members are logged in (logged in does not mean they are active in the chat, simply they are logged in to the site). There is a small speaker icon which will allow you to adjust the chat beeps which many prefer to turn off or down when not actively chatting.

We have many excellent features and tools here. While it may seem overwhelming at first, the basics of posting and commenting are simple and before too long we hope you will feel comfortable and at home.

Bang around, explore, write, comment and most of all have fun!
