"I like the end of this piece -- Your position has been overrun.  Takes a couple meanings, too.  Overplayed, played waay too long, also-ran, spilled, and/or -- I just finally shoved yer bad ass out the way!   But -- it is a heartfelt…"

"Boy howdy, that's a mouthful!  A Probablistic endeavor sounds in the first case to try to explore a probable, but having to have an impetus, some outcome, in order to endeavor in the first place.  The idea of an argument sounds as if…"

"Patience as a liability!!  Pssssheeew .. now THERE'S a concept I could toy with!  But, no kidding, I think "wrestles with God" a high honor.  What good, what furtherance comes from blind faith, or - doctrine?  I…"

"I find this all incredibly thoughty, and should maybe assume that knowing the tenants of each individual religious-system would be a good springboard to knowing, and/or understanding, or at least tolerating one the other.  Your depiction of…"

Bio
I am a mechanical bird. I fly, dive, and flutter about things, curious, ... yet -- I am but a machine. I am the product of the times I came into. All is mechanical. My clockwork works - exactly. You can see by the meter of my words that something is precise about me. I know not why; I am not the Originator of these things. They only come to me. They tick, or they whirr, or they may, by chance, chime. No matter - I hear, and respond to them. I myself am quite delighted by these Missives that come my way, and my dearest love is the language I came in with, English. It isn't the words themselves; more - it is the very capability of being able to iterate what I have been given to feel.

Welcome!

With any new site, we understand that finding your way around can be a bit daunting. To help you use our site, we have a few resources and tips, all of which can be found on pages under the Support  tab in your top menu bar. They are:

FAQ- here you can find some quick answers to general questions, questions about privacy and about site features.
Tips & Tricks - this is our forum where you can find tips on using the site, news about site changes and other information from the staff and other members.

Our Terms Of Service and Our Copyright Policy  can also be found under the Support tab.

You may also find additional help by going to chat and asking another member. Chat can be found in 2 place: There is a CHAT link in your top menu which will open chat in your browser.

The other option for opening chat is to use the small tabs at the bottom of most pages. The tab named "Opium Den" (our chat name) will open the in a small pop up window at the bottom of the screen. This window can also be resized or 'popped-out' and used as a separate window.

There is a "Members Online" tab on the bottom of your page too. This will show which other members are logged in (logged in does not mean they are active in the chat, simply they are logged in to the site). There is a small speaker icon which will allow you to adjust the chat beeps which many prefer to turn off or down when not actively chatting.

We have many excellent features and tools here. While it may seem overwhelming at first, the basics of posting and commenting are simple and before too long we hope you will feel comfortable and at home.

Bang around, explore, write, comment and most of all have fun!
