If you are hoping to read a juicy, mouth-watering assault on the blockbuster movie "Crazy, Rich Asians" . . . you have come to the wrong place.

Rather . . . in my 'Half-Asian' Journalist-humble-half-breed-Americanized opinion . . . the Film is not even worthy of any deep-spirited words I may choose to write.

Instead, I shall offer anyone who cares to read it-- a thoughtful and Deep essay about "what it really feels…

My Love-Hate Relationship with Naked Yoga People

Posted on August 23, 2017 at 5:07pm 6 Comments

I suppose that it may stem all the way back to my winsomely strange childhood, when I first witnessed a man and woman enjoying naked yoga in my neighbor's lofty tree-hooded backyard.

I believe this was the first time I had ever seen a penis or a vagina outright, though at the time I had no idea what I…

To Donald Trump- "We No Love You Long Time"- View from an Asian-American Voter

No Donald Trump,"We No Want Deal with You." We also won't bow down to you, walk ten steps behind you with our little Asian feet, or love you long time.

It is another crisp Fall afternoon with owl-shaped orange and crimson leaves falling, falling in front of her dust-free window.

The silence is darkly deafening and her heart screams.

She shakes her smallish head and pounds her rickety fists into the air, but not on purpose.

Sue is…

Welcome!

With any new site, we understand that finding your way around can be a bit daunting. To help you use our site, we have a few resources and tips, all of which can be found on pages under the ABOUT tab in your top menu bar. They are:

FAQ- here you can find some quick answers to general questions, questions about privacy and about site features.

Site News, Tips & Tricks - this is our forum where you can find tips on using the site, news about site changes and other information from the staff and other members.

Our Terms Of Service and Our Copyright Policy can also be found under the ABOUT tab.

You may also find additional help by going to chat and asking another member. Chat can be found in 2 place: There is a CHAT link in your top menu which will open chat in your browser.

The other option for opening chat is to use the small tabs at the bottom of most pages. The tab named "Opium Den" (our chat name) will open the in a small pop up window at the bottom of the screen. This window can also be resized or 'popped-out' and used as a separate window.

There is a "Members Online" tab on the bottom of your page too. This will show which other members are logged in (logged in does not mean they are active in the chat, simply they are logged in to the site). There is a small speaker icon which will allow you to adjust the chat beeps which many prefer to turn off or down when not actively chatting.

We have many excellent features and tools here. While it may seem overwhelming at first, the basics of posting and commenting are simple and before too long we hope you will feel comfortable and at home.

Bang around, explore, write, comment and most of all have fun!
