Two Roads Diverged

Dear OS,

I’ve been thinking of you and it seemed a good moment to check in.  I don’t go to OS very often these days, but I am friends with Zanelle on Facebook. She posted a photo of some guy and I was curious to see the story. I was greeted on the front page with the loss of James Emmerling.  I’m…

Mother of Universe

Mother of the Universe was once very young and alive. As a maiden, her spirit was not yet caught in objects. She danced in the Winds and slept in the Oceanic…

Hullo, Carole.  I am so pleased to meet you!  Your comment on my piece about letter writing to our soldiering mateys had me anxious to read your words as well.  I do see that baseline spirit in you, same as me.  It IS a part of the artistry we create, this belief in love, in it's ephemeral eternity of spinnings, said in so many and varied beliefs, rituals, patterns, and occurrences.  I am very curious about some of the calendars you mention, and look forward to knowing you better, and sharing that same thing of creating my own world here on my land, bird sanctuary, tree-savin' and all.  Bests, Peggy
